The Semen Analysis test at Pamel Laboratories is a detailed laboratory examination of a man’s semen sample to evaluate fertility potential, sperm health, and reproductive function. This test measures key aspects such as sperm count, motility (movement), morphology (shape), and semen volume, making it essential for couples experiencing infertility, or following a vasectomy to confirm the absence of sperm.

It is also recommended for men with reproductive health concerns, hormonal imbalances, or genital tract infections.

What the Test Evaluates:

• Semen Volume & Viscosity

• Sperm Count (Concentration)

• Sperm Motility (Percentage of moving sperm)

• Sperm Morphology (Normal vs. abnormal shapes)

• pH Level

• Liquefaction Time

• Presence of WBCs, pus cells, or abnormal cells

Purpose of the Test:

• Assess male fertility status

• Diagnose causes of male infertility

• Confirm effectiveness of vasectomy

Sample Type: Semen sample collected by masturbation into a sterile container

Preparation Instructions:
