Chlamydia Antibodies Test (IgG/IgM)

The Chlamydia Antibodies Test at Pamel Laboratories is a serological test that detects IgG and/or IgM antibodies to Chlamydia trachomatis, the bacterium responsible for the most common sexually transmitted infection (STI) worldwide. The presence of these antibodies may indicate a past (IgG) or recent (IgM) infection, making this test useful for identifying chronic or unresolved infections, especially in individuals with fertility concerns, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), or recurrent urinary symptoms.

What the Test Detects:

• IgM antibodies: Suggest recent or current infection
