Myoglobin Test

The Myoglobin Test at Pamel Laboratories measures the level of myoglobin, a protein found in heart and skeletal muscles. Myoglobin is released into the bloodstream when muscle tissue is damaged, making this test useful for detecting early signs of heart attack (myocardial infarction) and muscle injury.

Because myoglobin rises very quickly (within 2–3 hours) after heart damage, it is often used alongside troponin and other cardiac markers for rapid diagnosis in emergency settings.
