At Pamel Laboratories, we provide a comprehensive Donor Screening and Blood Collection Service, ensuring the safe, ethical, and hygienic collection of blood from voluntary donors. This service includes full medical screening of the donor, controlled blood drawing (bleeding) by licensed professionals, and proper collection into a certified, sterile blood bag for transfusion or storage.

This process is essential for maintaining a safe blood supply, meeting hospital transfusion needs, and supporting blood donation campaigns. All activities are performed in compliance with national blood safety guidelines.

What the Service Includes:

• Donor Pre-Screening:

  • Health and lifestyle questionnaire

  • Vital signs check (BP, pulse, weight, etc.)

  • Hemoglobin level testing

  • Infectious disease risk assessment

• Bleeding Procedure (Blood Draw):

  • Performed by trained phlebotomists or lab scientists

  • Aseptic technique to ensure donor safety

  • Monitoring of donor during and after bleeding

  • Standard 450ml or 500ml drawn per session (as medically appropriate)

• Blood Bag Usage:

  • Use of approved, sterile, anticoagulant-preserved blood bags

  • Bags labeled with donor ID, blood group, and collection time/date

  • Proper sealing and cold storage of collected blood
