Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) – Quantitative Test

The Quantitative PSA Test at Pamel Laboratories measures the exact level of Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) in the blood. PSA is a protein produced by both normal and abnormal cells in the prostate gland. Elevated PSA levels may indicate prostate cancer, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), or prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate).

This test is highly valuable for early detection, risk assessment, and monitoring treatment response in men with prostate conditions.

Interpretation Guide:

Note: PSA levels can also rise due to recent ejaculation, prostate manipulation, or urinary infections.
