Thyroid Function Test (TFT Panel)

The Thyroid Function Test at Pamel Laboratories is a comprehensive blood test that evaluates the performance of your thyroid gland, which controls vital body functions like metabolism, energy levels, temperature regulation, and heart rate. The test measures key hormones that reflect how well your thyroid is working and helps diagnose hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and other thyroid disorders.

It is especially important for individuals experiencing unexplained fatigue, weight changes, mood swings, or menstrual irregularities.

What the Test Measures:

• TSH (Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone): Regulates thyroid hormone production

• Free T3 (Triiodothyronine): Active thyroid hormone affecting metabolism

• Free T4 (Thyroxine): Precursor hormone converted to T3 in the body

Expanded panels may include Total T3, Total T4, and Anti-thyroid antibodies if requested.

Purpose of the Test:

• Diagnose and monitor:
