Water Bacteriology Test

The Water Bacteriology Test at Pamel Laboratories is a microbiological analysis designed to assess the bacterial quality and safety of water used for drinking, domestic, industrial, or recreational purposes. This test detects and quantifies harmful bacteria and indicator organisms such as Escherichia coli (E. coli) and coliforms, which signal potential contamination by fecal matter or pathogens.

What the Test Includes:

• Total Bacterial Count (TBC)

• Total Coliform Count

• Fecal Coliform / E. coli Detection

• Identification of Specific Pathogens (upon request)

• Report compared with WHO/NAFDAC drinking water standards

Purpose of the Test:

• Assess potability of drinking water
