This test helps determine the type of microorganism causing the infection and the most effective antibiotic or antifungal treatment through sensitivity testing.

It is especially useful in cases of delayed wound healing, post-surgical infections, diabetic ulcers, or wounds with persistent discharge, redness, swelling, or pain.

What the Test Includes:

1. Microscopy: Examination of the wound swab for pus cells, bacteria, and fungi under the microscope
